How I found out about getting paid for taking surveys

In 2005 found a website that charged me $34.95 for a list of paying survey companies. I signed up with dozens of them as fast as I could and started getting paying surveys immediately. I couldn't believe that companies would pay me for my opinion!

Very quickly after that I started going to focus groups. Talk about fun! I got together with a few other people and really got to tell a company what I thought about their product! That was the best part--that they really cared about what I thought and wanted to make their product meet my needs.

How many times have you been using something and you wish that you had been there when they were designing this darn thing!

Either through surveys or focus groups, you can give your opinion to help design products from electric toothbrushes to baby safety seats to minivan features to potato chips and just about any consumer product you can think of!

I even got to watch new TV sitcoms and vote on which ones made it on the air! 

And the great part is I got paid for all that!

I told my friends about it and they started getting paid for their opinions too. They encouraged me to put the "secret" list of companies on a website. They said I could even charge people for the list. So I did that, but I decided I wanted to give the list away for free.

Why charge someone who's trying to MAKE money, not SPEND it!
